My friend curi tangkap gambar masa aku tidur kat office.

Learn A Word A Day

To my darling son Afif,

By the time you surf mama's blog, I wished that you are already in good condition. If you're still not well, pls call Wan and request to bring you to visit a doctor, okay? Don't keep the "virus" in the body too long without treatment.

Correction on your sickness:"PURGING" means "cirit-birit" if purge in the worst condition that leads to what we call "diarrhoea"

"CONSTIPATION" means "sembelit". Drink alot of water (warm H2O) is better and take fruits & vege. I know you don't have much choice over there!

The original words for the above are "constipate" and "purge".

Heh!Heh!Heh!Heh!!!!!

Take care...jgn lupa solat and tambahkan solat Tarawikh!!!! Jangan tinggal-tinggalkan, rugi!

Love you

MAMA

WORRY

Pretty disappointed with Afif's recent test results. Had advised million times to focus on his study if he wish to be successful in his study. Well, he had never really listened or at least take my point.

Afif! I hope you will really take mama's advise as your guidance.

Firstly, you have to fix your schedule on your daily activities. You have to improve your time management. Then only you will have appropriate time for study, rest, perform your ibadah, recreation, etc, etc, etc.
Secondly, change your bad attitudes.
Thirdly, discipline yourself.
Remember Allah always. To perform Solat no matter how busy you are.
Remember Mama loves and cares for you so much now and thereafter.
Love
MAMA

ILL

Well, looks like most of us not well.

Adi was admitted at SJMC on the 02 Aug and was discharged on the 05 Aug '08 due to sprained around the knee. He played futsal. This is the 2nd time, he injured which the first time was way back in 2004 after SPM and played football. I was really worried but relieved when the injuries wasn't so bad.

Whilst I was taking care of him at the hospital, my shoulder was in pain again.

Yong, was not well after our trip back from Hong Kong.

Today, 06 Aug, my hubby was not well. Slight fever and sore throat! Visited a GP and got some medicines

Adik & Afif, pls take care of yourself. I wish both of you don't fall sick. Amin!!!!

Hong Kong

29 to 01 Aug 2008.
Hong Kong trip.

Arrived HKG on the 29 Jul 2008 around 1500 hrs together with colleagues, Imza, Zaba and Mahat. Not to forget my daughter Ili Liyana. I brought her to accompany me in the room.

29 July : at 1600 hrs went to Ladies Street, Mongkok. Did some "pasar malam" shopping. It has been long time since my last trip to Hong Kong. That was more than 22 years ago when I was a flight crew.
Hong Kong still looks the same. Not much changes. Except this time the airport is located at Lantau Island. My last landing was in Kai Tak Int. Airport , located at Kowloon.

We left Mongkok at 2200 hrs.

30 Jul : My duty start. Study visit at CSC Kitchen. (LSG Kitchen in HKG)

31 Jul : 2nd day kitchen visit.

After work, 2nd trip to Mongkok to continue shopping. This time I went with Ili. We left Regal Airport Hotel @ 2000 hrs and came back almost Midnite.

01 Aug : Left for KUL. Home sweet home.
Actually a little "malas to update blog"
Nanti kalau rajin tambah lagi, ok!!!

Beware Ladies!

Just to share an e-mail sent by friends:

Sent: Thursday, 17 July, 2008 4:44:13 PM
Subject: URGENT ! TAKE NOTE !!!ESPECIALLY LADIES!!!

For your information. ( Very Urgent ) If you meet a guy (especially Indian) who rides a motorbike with bloody hand knocking your window demand you to stop and asking for tissue paper to clean the blood when you are driving a car, remember DO NOT stop the car. at all. Even how he damages your car or holds the side mirrors tightly also DO NOT stop the car but directly drive to the nearest police station.. This kind of criminal tactics had been reported about 40 cases in Seremban,K. Lumpur, Shah Alam, P.Jaya and Klang Town police stations (actually around the whole country also happen). These guys are mainly Indian gangsters, They work in a group and dared to commit this criminal even in the crowded area whereby no body will dare to stop the car to help you. The main purpose of this dirty tactic is to rob you and / or even commit rape if you are female driver driving alone.

Please forward this message to the people you care about at your best.

Bulan Rejab

To all readers, especially my children, Yong, Adi, Afif & Adik..
For your info...
With Love
From Mama & Abah

BULAN REJAB
===========
Sabda Rasulullah saw lagi: "Pada malam Israk Mi'raj, saya melihat sebatang
sungai yang airnya lebih manis dari madu, lebih sejuk dari air batu dan
lebih harum dari minyak wangi, lalu saya bertanya pada Jibril a.s "Wahai
Jibril untuk siapakah sungai ini?" Maka jawab Jibril a.s "Ya Muhammad
satu tahun."
REBUTLAH 5 PERKARA SEBELUM DATANG 5 PERKARA

Visit abah, 28-29 Jun 2008

Last week end, sat & sun, I went back to Melaka with my children to visit my father who was ill. He suffered from Cancer Prostat and at the same time there was a stone in the bladder.
I addressed my father as "Abah". Same address to my hubby.
Abah wasn't as cheerful as before. He was quiet.
Today, my sister Lin, has to re admit him to Melaka Hospital to diagnosed his sickness further.
The doctor will confirm what to be done.
May Allah bless him and may he recover as soon as possible.
I pray to Allah for my mum. May she be strong and patience to take care of Abah.
Amin!!!

Going Bananas Bananas... This is very interesting. After Reading THIS, you'll NEVER look at a banana in the same way again -
Bananas. Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.
Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout.

No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.
Anemia : High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of haemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.
Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Brain Power: 200 students at aTwickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.
Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.
Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.
Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.
Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.
Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.
Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.
Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a 'cooling' fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.
Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.
Strokes: According to research in 'The New England Journal of Medicine 'eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!'
Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape! So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around.

So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, 'A banana a day keeps the doctor away!' PASS THIS ON TO ALL OF YOUR ON-LINE FRIENDS and FAMILY PS : Bananas must be the reason monkeys are so happy all the time!

Eh!!!!

Well, it's been 2 days I didn't update my blog.
A diary should be written on daily basis, right?

Those days, during my younger days (now that I'm not that too old yet, ok!) I used to write in a diary 'bout my daily activities. I stopped after so busy bringing up my kids. Not much time for myself. But, now the three of them has grown up, except the last one whom is 11 yrs old. Hah!

Sometimes, I wish I could unwind the clock and re-do what was unpleasant happened in my life with them. Nevertheless, the happiness still there which we will gather and remember till the end of our life. The beautiful part still there despite of all the sour memories.

Eh! What kind of morning writings!!!! Heh!Heh!Heh! Saja aje....

Luv ya! Dear readers......hem siapa tu?
